On Greene Street this week – love the hair, the sheer, the aviators, the boots, and all of her jewelry. She’s killin’ it from head to toe!

Spring Has Sprung!

Hello spring…nice to see you. It’s been a long time. On the street in New York this week… x

Splendor In The Grass

If you’ve been to Coachella, you know that there’s so much that goes on during the weekend apart from the festival itself. Primary among these activities are the daytime parties – fashion parties, pool parties, BBQs, hotel parties, etc. The best ones are low-key affairs with carefully curated guest lists – these are posh pool parties, not pounding house music pool parties. My two favorite parties of the whole weekend both happened on Saturday (April 16th) – the Mulberry BBQ and pool party at the Gene Autry pool at The Parker and the Phillip Lim pool party at an amazing private house he’d rented in the hills above the valley. (And when I say amazing, I’m talkin’ palm trees, white grand piano, sunken bar, a pool that came almost up to the edge of the cliff, and a stunning view of all of Palm Springs below – très desert chic.) I brought my camera along of course and now here are my photos from these two parties. There are loads more of my snaps from both parties at too – if you want to see everything! xo

Golden Girls

Out and about on Friday at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival – aka “the most stylish music festival in the world”. You can see loads more of my photos at, if you feel so inclined. I’m heading out shortly to the Mulberry BBQ and pool party at The Parker, Palm Springs. More Coachella photos soon! xx

Down In The Valley

Hi there – although I love big cities like New York, Tokyo, London, etc. I also love being out in the middle of nowhere. It’s great to have that balance…to be out in nature…and see how the other half lives. To that end then, I’ve headed out to the California desert for Coachella 2011! And yeah, Palm Springs has a few too many spas, great restaurants, and cute shops to truly be the middle of nowhere…but whatevs, I need some amenities when I rough it!
I’m heading out to shoot soon and will be posting new street style photos all weekend – so check back soon for those! You might also want to follow me on Twitter – gonna tweet whenever I can – though wireless signals come and go down in the valley… xx Mr. Newton

Afternoon Delight

I have been wanting to shoot Liz’s photo for ages. I’d never emailed her or attempted to contact her to set something up – I prefer for things to be impromptu whenever possible. Secretly though, she was on my short list of “beautiful girls with great style whose photos I must shoot at some point”. I finally got my chance when I bumped into her recently in New York. xo
