Hey - how's it going? So it's Thursday afternoon...just hanging around the Mr. Newton HQ in Williamsburg, Brooklyn...listening to some fun music with my interns - the usual. It has me thinking back to earlier this week (Monday to be exact) when I was out shooting street fashion in Nolita...I'd stopped by Ruby's for their dead-on-authentic-yet-not-contrived-in-the-least Bondi Beach cafe vibe...and for a bowl of perfectly al dente spaghetti pesto and a fresh mint-and-pineapple smoothie (yum!)...and I ran into my Aussie friend M. and she was saying that her family is here from Sydney for the entire month of August and that they had rented a house out in Montauk. All of which got me thinking about summer vacations...and beaches...and surfing (I don't know how but it looks like it would be amazing)...and Montauk...and Australia (I love it down there)...and about how August is such an awesome month to just lay around and do not much of anything.
