Basel Beach Blanket Bingo – Miami

Those of you who follow me on Twitter will know that last weekend I was in Miami for Art Basel Miami Beach – an annual winter ritual where I pretend to look at art while attending lots of fun dinners and parties. And actually I arrived in Miami a bit early – before Art Basel officially began. And uhh, actually I’m still in Miami…because while “New York, New York is a helluva town”, it’s a helluva lot more fun to wear flip-flops in December than snow boots.

Speaking of arriving in Miami a bit early, these photos were all shot on Wednesday DEC 5th…as I made my way from the Valentino and Interview magazine party on the roof of chic boutique The Webster…on to the somewhat-less-chic-but-no-less-amazing Mac’s Club Deuce…then across the street to the wonderful La Sandwicherie for a mid-evening snack…then later across the dunes at Soho Beach House for Chanel’s awesome BBQ in a tent on the beach…before finally ending up at the Paris-under-the-palms South Beach pop-up of French hotspot, Le Baron.
